The Academy of Certified Brain Injury Specialists (ACBIS) offers a national certification program for entry-level staff and experienced professionals working in the field of brain injury. ACBIS provides those interested with an opportunity to learn about brain injury, to demonstrate their learning with a written examination, and to earn a nationally recognized credential.
As a service to our brain injury community, Rainbow offers free training courses to prepare for the CBIS exam. Nurses, case managers and other professionals who partner with Rainbow and have at least one year of experience working in the field of traumatic brain injury are invited to attend.
The Essential Brain Injury Guide, a $40 value, is included with your training.

CBIS Exam Date:
The certification examination is an online exam which will be proctored at the Rainbow Livonia Center on several dates after class completion. The cost for the exam is $175 (Rainbow's group rate – a $125 savings from the individual cost of $300).
